Holiday Weddings

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!!!! Don't you just love that song?  When I  hear it I think of Santa, snow, hot cocoa and of course snuggling up in front of the fireplace with that special person in your life. What better time to get married then Christmas!!!
It's the most wonderful time of year, you are surrounded by your loved ones... best part is that the church is already decorated! YES total money saver no?

Wedding Colors:
Most likely your church will be decorated with red and green but you don't have to stick to that. On your special day you deserve the works. Whatever you want goes (budget permitting that is). Silver and Gold, Silver and White, Silver and Blue, Burgundy, Gold and Cream. All colors to symbolize the season and your special day.

Invitations:
I know what your thinking. You don't want the Christmas card look for your invites right? Totally understandable!  Why not forgo the folding card all together and go with the thick white card with a border and some engraving as well. Perhaps a poinsettia instead of a Christmas Tree or Santa Claus. Remember that BeHitched Weddings is a licensed invite dealer.
*** Consider Save the Date Cards since it is the Holiday Season you might want to make sure you guest do show up. ***

Wedding Cake:
First idea that pops to my head is having each tier look like an individual package. Using marzipan or almond pastes are the traditional flavors for holiday desserts.

Flowers and Decor:
This is where you use the Season to your benefit. Your going to want to use flowers that are in season which is definitely cheaper. What about Poinsettias as centerpieces? Candles and and wreaths and pinecones. As far as the bridal bouquet, Fire and Ice roses would be ideal.

Christmas is magical even as an adult. Why not make that magic last and plan your wedding around that time.  Happy Holidays to you all, from BeHitched Weddings!
